Been a little worried about our Mojave Ghost, he has refused to eat for almost two months.
We have tried out different heat settings, different hideouts and so on...and so on....after cranking up the heat a bit more the appetite grew. :D
Two days ago he ate a rat fuzzie! Wee!!

One of the snakes who never have tried to escape yet, is Cleo...
until yesterday!
Maybe the newcomers was too tempting.
She had gotten out of her terrarium, something that I thought was
impossible...it has a lock and should be escape safe.
I found her after 2 minutes, snuggeling ontop of Mios box. Watching Mio shedding maybe? :)

5 new members to the pack of cornsnakes!
Morphs: Amelanistic, Normal, Snow, Amelanistic Stripe and Pewter. 1.2.2.
Surprisingly enough, two of those coming from a breeder we bought three cornsnakes from earlier. Who lives 600 kilometers away!
After a little chat we found out that the two are the offspring of a couple of the ones we bought last year.
What are the odds??

A little late to pair up, but the male arrived early in december, so we gave it a chance. Would have preferred to start pairing up in november. They get 3 days together, with a pause between and then 3 days together, until we observe a lock. Then the female is left alone to do her job.

Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas!
New snakes has arrived, two males. A Black Pastel and a Lemon Pastel.
Pictures of them below the Christmas card. :)
Today it`s feeding day for some of them, the new ones as well.

I guess the Lemon Pastel is hungry, since he tried to eat my thumb when I changed his water this morning.

Just posting some pictures from this week, a lot of sheding going on with the juveniles so they only get a shower each day and then we let them shed in peace.

Some of our males is in a lovely mood?? ;)
Spotty is for sure lovesick...rubbing against the glass, rubbing against us when we hold her and curling her self around the waterbowl. Not her self theese days.

Hungry Spotted Pythons aren`t exactly smart...
Spotty striked the rat, missed and took a mouthful of her own skin yesterday!
She started strangling her self and I had to use my tweezers to force her to let go.
I quickly served the rat 2 mm from her face afterwords. ;)
